The “Shortcut” service was developed five years ago by the Austrian designer Thomas Feichtner. Having described porcelain with a sense of awe as a “high tech material for its combined robustness and aesthetic” Feichtner decided to collaborate with Augarten to create a service. He envisioned pieces devoid of ornamentation, which would meet the demands of everyday needs. Thus, the “Shortcut” service was born. In honor of the service’s fifth anniversary, earthy natural tones, lending themselves perfectly mixing and matching with the original white models, were added to the line.
In line with the designer’s vision, this bowl’s size and shape lend themselves perfectly to a variety of meals thus responding to everyday needs.
