Modern coffee set consisting of a coffee mug 9cm, a saucer and an Alpha water glass by the traditional Viennese company Lobmeyr.
The designer duo LUCY.D has revisited the legendary tradition of the obligatory glass of water with the melange and poured it into a contemporary design. The Melangeset combines the Viennese tradition of serving a glass of water with coffee in a sculptural object made of the finest materials. The Alphabecher, a classic from LOBMEYR, is combined with a new, simple cup shape and a small plate made of fine AUGARTEN porcelain to form this set. The WIENER MELANGE comes in three parts, consisting of a coffee bowl with a lid that can also serve as a saucer or side plate. In addition to the puristic white of the porcelain, the set is available with alpha cups made of fine muslin glass in light blue, green or rosalin.
