The light blue flowers of the forget-me-not can be found as porcelain decoration in the lush painting of "European flowers" on early Viennese porcelain since 1730. Around 1800, in the Age of Sensibility, the forget-me-not was the most widely used symbol in the language of flowers. But representative services were also painted with the modest yet meaningful flowers. As an attitude to life and fashion at the same time, this epoch appreciated the luxury of the new simplicity.
