Inspired by a design by architect Josef Hoffmann for a silk fabric from around 1910, Deco Vienne conveys the creative flair of the Wiener Werkstätte. Decorative elements that Josef Hoffmann valued for his Gesamtkunstwerk, such as the climbing bellflowers surrounded by abstract graphic structures, characterise the design of Viennese modernism. The famous "Form 19" is an original design by Hoffmann and is characterised by its unusual shape.
