In May 1782 the first of the famous morning concerts took place in Vienna's Augarten - under the direction of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. It is precisely this genius of music history that the Augarten Porcelain Manufactory brings back to music: Star tenor Rolando Villazón, director of the world-famous Salzburg Mozart Week, personally designed an exclusive mocha cup for the Augarten-based porcelain manufacturer. At the center of the design - how could it be otherwise - Mozart, who wants to embrace the whole world with his music. With the mocha cup designed by Rolando Villazón, another masterpiece is now being brought to life - according to the motto of the Mozart Week 2019 “Mozart is alive”. The Mexican-French tenor, writer and gifted draftsman with Austrian ancestors places the exceptional artist Mozart at the center of his design. The diverse artistic talent of Villazón thus creates a skilful art-loving bracket that unites Mozart, the Augarten and the Augarten porcelain factory. The mocha cups, lovingly, mischievously and globally designed by Rolando Villazón, are now available in limited numbers.
